We believe this stunning, near black daughter of high profile first season sire Merchant Navy was incredibly well bought considering her physique and pedigree.
Her sire was the winner of the sire-making Coolmore Stud Stakes at Flemington and the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot. His oldest progeny are yearlings, which have sold for up to $500,000.
This filly has a terrific pedigree, being out of a half-sister (by Domesday) to the Champion speed filly Appearance, who is also the sister to good racemare and producer Mascareri. The first foal out of Black Prada made $600,000 at the yearling sales, now named Saffiano. Black Prada is in foal to Snitzel.
The filly herself is all quality; she has great conformation, great movement and a fantastic attitude. We believe she was incredible buying at $85,000 and think she would suit an astute bloodstock investor.
Purchase price was $85,000 excluding GST and associated costs (transport, inspection fee, insurances, etc).
