We just can’t get enough of a good thing!
We bought two EXTREME CHOICE fillies from Newgate Stud this year, a farm that has produced 2 of the last 4 Golden Slipper winners!
This filly is out of the STREET CRY mare, TREE OF JESSE. Street Cry has been an exceptional broodmare sire in Australia, as well as within the McEvoy stable. Our gun filly ARABIAN SUMMER is out of a Street Cry mare, as well as other Australian superstars such as BROADSIDING, FARNAN and TREASURETHEMOMENT.
Street Cry operates at a phenomenal 10% stakes horses to runners in Australia as a broodmare sire. This mating to Extreme Choice is a serious upgrade in stallion for Tree of Jesse, having been to WINNING RUPERT, BRUTAL, RUSSIAN REVOLUTION and MORE THAN READY before. The owners clearly believed this mare was worthy of a date with the world’s best stallion. We can see why, given the enormous strength of this filly’s pedigree. Her second dam’s family includes up until very recently, I Am Invincible’s only G1 winning 2yo in MOVE TO STRIKE. NO EVIDENCE NEEDED (SHAMARDAL), a G2 winner and multiple runner-up at G1 level, is also found under the second dam.
Extreme Choice strikes at an elite ratio of 12% stakes winners to runners! He is a statistical freak, possessing the highest G1 winners to runner’s ratio in the world of 4.31%. This is higher than breed-shapers GALILEO, FRANKEL, DUBAWI, REDOUTE’S CHOICE, SNITZEL etc.
His fillies have been highly sought after at the sales as breeding propositions. If this yearling is one of the lucky 16% of Extreme Choice’s filly runners that go on to gain blacktype, then we can expect to be well rewarded should she be offered in the sales ring. Four stakes winning Extreme Choice fillies have been offered at auction as breeding prospects and they have brought an average of $2.17m.
The last filly we had out of a STREET CRY mare turned out to be a superstar and we think you should get involved in our next one now!
