Extreme Choice x Paulita (USA) filly

Yearlings
Bay Filly | Newgate Farm

There’s no better stallion in the world!

Extraordinary is the only way to describe EXTREME CHOICE’s breeding career.

He is the fastest stallion to achieve 5 G1 winners since 2000, beating other Champion stallions SNITZEL, REDOUTE’s CHOICE, GALILEO and FRANKEL.

His statistics are freakish!

  • He operates at a globally elite percentage of Group 1 winners to runners at 4.31%. Higher than Galileo, Frankel, Dubawi, Savabeel, Redoute’s Choice, I Am Invincible, Northern Meteor, Snitzel, Written Tycoon etc.
  • The highest stakes winners to runners ratio of any sire in the Southern Hemisphere

This filly is out of a SCAT DADDY mare, who was a notorious source of speed in America. Scat Daddy operates at 80% winners to runners in Australia as a broodmare sire, with a huge 20% of the runners being stakes horses! American mares have emerged as a significant influence within the Australia, Group 1 winners SWITZERLAND and RUSSIAN REVOLUTION hail from American mares. Of more relevance is the proven affinity that Extreme Choice himself has shown for American mares. His gun G1 winners KNIGHT’S CHOICE, DEVIL NIGHT, and STAY INSIDE are all out of mares by American-bred stallions. Our filly simply needs to follow this path already paved for success!

PAULITA won two Listed races and has produced a winner and a blacktype horse from only two runners on the track. Paulita’s youngest daughter to hit the track, TIGLETTA (Capitalist) won her first trial at Warwick Farm on 21/03/25, beating what looked like a typically strong Sydney field. The runner-up THALESTRIS, commanded $1.8m as a yearling and the third-place filly RAJWA is a half-sister to the G1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes winner, MANAAL.

While it is only early days for this filly, we love what this family is doing and love even more the fact that we have a half-sister by the world’s leading sire!

If this yearling is one of the lucky 16% of Extreme Choice’s filly runners that go on to gain blacktype, then we can expect to be well rewarded should she be offered in the sales ring. Four stakes winning Extreme Choice fillies have been offered at auction as breeding prospects and they have brought an average of $2.17m!

We could go on and on with the impressive statistics, but we think you should get involved to experience them for yourself!
